Overview

What it does

Pins are the consumable half of a hard tag. They get dropped at the till, bent by rushed removal, and quietly lost until a whole rail of new stock cannot be tagged. Buy them in bulk against the tags already in use — the pin head, shaft length and lock type must match the tag body, and a pin that nearly fits will either mark the garment or pull straight out. Keep a box at every till point rather than one in the office.
