DigitalSignage

Commercial screens, media players and central scheduling — one campaign, every branch, the same morning.

Overview

The problem it solves

A printed poster is out of date the moment the promotion changes, and across twenty branches it takes a courier and a week to put right. A screen takes a file and a schedule.

Digital signage is three things that have to work together: a panel rated to run all day, a player behind it, and software someone in your office will actually open on a Tuesday morning. Most failed installations get the screen right and the other two wrong — a consumer television in a sunlit window, updated by a USB stick and whoever happens to be in that branch.

RATS BD specifies to the position. We measure the light falling on the glass before choosing brightness, mount for heat and sightline rather than for whatever wall is free, and set the content system up so one marketing coordinator can run every screen in the estate without visiting a store.

Capabilities

What the system does

Specified per store — not a catalogue page read back at you.

  • 01

    Commercial-grade displays

Panels built for 16/7 or 24/7 duty in portrait or landscape — not a consumer TV asked to do a job its warranty excludes.

  • 02

    Central scheduling & dayparting

Upload once, then schedule by branch, screen and time of day. Breakfast pricing at 8am and the evening offer at 6pm, unattended.

  • 03

    High-brightness window screens

Sunlight-readable panels for shopfront glass, where an ordinary display washes out to grey by mid-morning.

  • 04

    Menu boards & queue displays

Price and menu boards that change centrally, plus token-calling screens for service counters and pharmacy queues.

Hardware

What we supply

Commercial LCD displays
43–86 inch panels at 350–700 nits for indoor floors and back walls.
High-brightness window units
2,000–3,500 nit displays for shopfronts in direct sun.
Indoor LED walls
Fine-pitch cabinets for feature walls, lobbies and atrium sites.
Players & CMS licences
SoC or external media players with per-screen content-management licences.

Model availability moves with the market — we confirm exactly what is in stock, and what it will cost to run, when we quote.

Best for

Where it earns its keep

  • Chains running one promotion across many branches at once
  • Restaurants and food courts pricing from a menu board
  • Shopfronts and showrooms competing for a walkway glance

Questions

Before you
buy

The things retail managers actually ask us on the first call.

Can we just use ordinary televisions?

You can, and many do for a year. A consumer panel is rated for a few hours a day, usually voids warranty in commercial use, and is not built to run in portrait — so you replace it about twice as often as the commercial display you were avoiding.

Who updates the content once it is installed?

Anyone you nominate. The content system runs in a browser: upload an image or video, pick the branches and the dates, publish. We train two people at handover so it does not depend on one person.

What happens when the branch internet drops?

The player keeps running the last schedule it downloaded and syncs when the link returns. A screen should never go black because a router did.
