Handheld Tag Detector

Handheld unit for finding a live tag or label after a gate alarm, in AM and RF versions.

AM 58 kHzTagLock

Handheld Tag Detector

Overview

What it does

A pocket detector that tells staff whether a tag or label is still live. After a gate alarm, the guard sweeps the bag, trolley or garment until the unit responds, instead of arguing at the door on the customer's word. It is equally useful behind the till to confirm labels are actually being deactivated rather than just passed over the pad. Two versions are stocked: AM DHH for acousto-magnetic sites and RF DHH for radio-frequency sites — they are not interchangeable, so order to match the gates already installed.
