Deactivators& Detachers
Counter hardware that keeps checkout fast and frustration-free.
The problem it solves
Every second a cashier spends fighting a tag is a second the queue grows. Checkout hardware is where a loss-prevention system either disappears into the workflow or becomes the thing everyone complains about.
Soft labels need deactivating; hard tags need removing. Both have to happen in one motion, at the counter, without the cashier reaching for a second device or turning the garment inside out.
We specify pad or scanner-integrated deactivators for label-based stock and magnetic detachers rated to the tag locks you actually use, then set them up so the till layout works left- and right-handed.
What the system does
Specified per store — not a catalogue page read back at you.
- 01
Counter-pad deactivators
Flush or surface-mounted pads that kill AM and RF labels as goods are bagged.
- 02
Scanner-integrated units
Deactivation combined with barcode scanning — one pass, one motion.
- 03
Magnetic detachers
Standard and superlock detachers matched to your hard-tag locks.
- 04
Verification feedback
Audible and visual confirmation so cashiers know a label is genuinely dead.

- AM deactivation pads
- Counter-mount pads with adjustable field height.

The things retail managers actually ask us on the first call.
Will a deactivator wipe our RFID labels too?
No. EAS deactivation and RFID encoding are separate mechanisms; a dual-function label loses its EAS response while keeping its RFID serial.
One detacher per till, or shared?
One per till. A shared detacher becomes a bottleneck the moment two customers queue with tagged goods.
Do pads interfere with card terminals?
They can if mounted badly. Placement is part of the install — we set the pad clear of the terminal's field.
