Service tool that confirms an EAS gate is transmitting properly, in AM and RF versions.

AM 58 kHzTagLock

EAS Frequency Tester

Overview

What it does

An installation and service instrument. Held near a pedestal, it confirms the gate is transmitting on its expected frequency, which separates a genuinely dead antenna from a tuning or interference problem. Engineers use it at commissioning, after a shopfront refit, and whenever two gates in one doorway start upsetting each other. AM FT covers acousto-magnetic systems, RF FT covers 8.2 MHz radio-frequency systems.
