Overview

What it does

The RFID24 mounts overhead rather than on the floor, so a doorway gets RFID coverage without pedestals eating into the entrance — useful in a narrow shopfront, or where a mall landlord will not allow floor-mounted units. It reads EPC C1 Gen 2 (ISO 18000-6C) tags with output power adjustable from 10 dBm to 33 dBm, so the field can be turned down where it would otherwise spill past the door and read stock on the wrong side. Connection is RJ45 (10M/100M) or RS232 at 9600–230400 bps, with Modbus, HID, HTTP, HTTPS, MQTT and TCP at the network layer. An alarm light and buzzer are built into the ABS housing.
