What it does

The RF109 pairs an aluminium frame with acrylic panels in a silver finish, which stands up to trolley and pushchair contact better than a bare acrylic post. It runs 8.2 MHz, reading soft labels at 1.4–1.5 m and hard tags at 2.4 m, from a 1630 × 360 × 80 mm frame at 12.5 kg net — the lightest Sentra RF gate with a published weight. Power is 10 W per antenna on 110–220 V with a 24 V 2 A output. The 1630 mm height makes it slightly taller than the acrylic models, worth checking against a low soffit or a glazed canopy.
