Overview

What it does

The AMM10 is the acrylic version of Checkpoint's compact AM pedestal, aimed at supermarkets and shops where a white plastic gate would look out of place. At 58 kHz it reads DR labels at 1.6–1.8 m and hard tags at 1.8–2.8 m, and each antenna draws 25 W from a 110–220 V supply. One master supports two slaves with no separate controller, so a wide entrance can be covered without extra rack hardware. Net weight is 17 kg per pedestal, so plan for two people and a proper floor fixing.
