Overview

What it does

The AM160 is the higher-reach ABS pedestal in the Guardia AM range, running the Ultra board at 58 kHz. Detection is 1.8 m to 2.8 m depending on the tag, from a 1545 × 500 × 130 mm frame drawing ≤15 W on 110–230 V at 50–60 Hz. It can be set up as a TX+RX pair or as a single mono post. Where the AM157 and AM158 start at 0.9 m, this board holds a floor of 1.8 m, so it is the one to specify when the doorway is genuinely wide and the tag mix is varied.
