What it does
The AM157 is a 58 kHz acousto-magnetic pedestal that can be commissioned as a transmit/receive pair or as a single mono post, so one stock item covers both a wide entrance and a side door. Detection runs from 0.9 m to 2.8 m depending on the tag fitted. Rated power is ≤15 W on 110–230 V at 50–60 Hz, low enough to matter on a site running generator or inverter backup. The base is offered in plastic or metal.
