Overview

What it does

The AM153 pairs an anodised aluminium frame with acrylic panels, finished in grey — a harder-wearing build than plastic for entrances that take trolley knocks. It runs 58 kHz, reading DR labels at 1.5–1.8 m and hard tags at 2.0–2.4 m, on 110–220 V drawing up to 200 W. A master unit supports two slaves with no controller needed, and each antenna can be set as transceiver, transmitter or receiver during commissioning. Specify it where a wide exit has to be covered by three posts rather than two.
