Three days at the International Security Expo Bangladesh

The International Security Expo, organised by I-Station Limited, Bangladesh Computer Samity and GPE EXPO FZE, brought together more than 50 exhibitors and an estimated 4,000 trade visitors over three days at ICCB. For an industry that mostly meets one client at a time, it is the one week of the year the whole field is in one hall.

Our stand stayed busy. The useful part was not the demonstrations themselves but the range of people who came to them — retail chains, manufacturing plants and corporate offices, each describing a different version of the same problem, and each needing a different system to answer it.

That is the argument for integration rather than a shopping list: a doorway with a gate, a counter and a camera on it tells you far more than three of those bought separately from three suppliers.
