GTB 2026: what four days in Hall 6 told us about RMG

Four days demonstrating Takipsan's textile RFID line to factory owners, production heads and merchandisers — and a clear signal that the sector is ready for automation it can see working.

The story

GTB 2026: what four days in Hall 6 told us about RMG

Our stand in Hall 6 ran for four days, and the response from the Bangladeshi RMG sector went past what we had planned for. The visitors who mattered came in person: factory owners, production heads and merchandisers, most of them carrying a specific counting or shipment problem rather than a general interest in technology.

The demonstration people queued for was Box Station 2 — a carton read that counts and verifies contents without the box being opened. It is the kind of claim that sounds like marketing until someone watches a sealed carton reconcile in seconds, which is exactly why we brought the hardware instead of a brochure.

Our brief for the show was to put Turkish engineering in front of Bangladeshi manufacturing and let the two be compared directly. Takipsan's range — Box Station, Minidesk Station, handheld readers, Gate Station, Tunnel Station and the U-Logs software behind them — was built for the fabric-to-fashion lifecycle, and that specificity is what held people at the stand.

We are working through the enquiries taken during the show. If you did not make it to Hall 6, the same demonstration can be run at your factory — that is a site visit, not a sales call.

What we showed
  • Box Station 2

Carton contents counted and verified without opening the box. The crowd favourite, and the demonstration that generated the most follow-up.

  • Takipsan textile RFID

Specialist garment-manufacturing hardware — model tracking, fabric warehouse systems and reading stations — shown as one line rather than as parts.

  • Export-house conversations

Productive discussions with decision-makers from several of the country's largest export houses.
