Takipsan comes to Bangladesh: our partnership at GTB 2026

Bangladesh is the world's second-largest apparel exporter, and a great many of its factories still count stock by hand. That gap is where shrinkage and shipment errors live, and it is the reason we went looking for a partner who understood the fabric-to-fashion lifecycle rather than RFID in general.

We found Takipsan. Thirteen-plus years of specialisation in textile RFID, with systems engineered for the specific awkwardness of garment manufacturing — hanging product, cartons, fabric rolls, and the transfers between them. Representing Takipsan in Bangladesh means that hardware is now available here with local supply, installation and after-sales behind it.

GTB 2026 hosted more than 300 exhibitors and 18,000-plus visitors, so we chose demonstrations over display. Everything on the stand was running: you could put a carton on the Box Station and watch the count, rather than read about it.
