Why a security company exhibited at a textile expo

It is a fair question: why does a security and automation company take a stand at a textile show? The answer is in the journey a garment makes — factory floor, warehouse, transfer, retail rail, fitting room, till. Every one of those handovers is a place where units go missing or counts stop agreeing, and every one of them is a place we already work.

The industry's three recurring problems are the ones we were asked about all show. Inventory shrinkage: thousands of items to manage and protect between production and sale. Operational inefficiency: manual tracking and dated security slowing the supply chain down. Asset security: valuable machinery and large facilities to keep controlled.

So we brought the systems that answer them, running rather than photographed, and spent the show walking people through their own version of the problem.
