What it does
The MD521 opens tag locks by mechanical action rather than magnetic pull. That makes it the tool for lanyard, cable and bottle-type tags whose locks are not built to release on a magnet, and for stores that do not want tag removal to depend on a puck anyone could buy. It is hand-operated and needs no power. Confirm tag compatibility with us before ordering — mechanical detachers are matched to specific lock types and none of them is universal.
