What it does
The M198 is the heavy end of the Guardia detacher range, offered in 15,000 GS and 16,000 GS ratings. It is for stores using reinforced or super-lock style hard tags that a mid-range puck will not release cleanly. There is no power supply and nothing to service. At these field strengths keep it well away from card stripes, phones and anything else magnetically sensitive on the counter.
