Overview

What it does

The VPL is Sensormatic's blank acousto-magnetic label, 44.6 mm by 10.16 mm, with no printed barcode on the face. The plain finish keeps branding and mandatory product information visible, which matters on small packs and on lines where a supplier objects to a fake barcode appearing on their packaging. It deactivates consistently at the point of sale and is rated for -5 C to 50 C. It meets RoHS 2011/65/EU and 2015/863/EU and REACH regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, so it clears procurement checks that ask for compliance paperwork.
