What it does
APX is Sensormatic's Advanced Performance Xtreme label, part ZLAPXS2, printed with a barcode face so it reads as ordinary packaging on the shelf. It measures 44.6 mm by 10.16 mm and runs on the 58 kHz acousto-magnetic standard, with tamper resistance and dependable deactivation at the point of sale. Sensormatic rates it to keep working after the knocks of transport and repeated merchandise turnover, which makes it the choice for goods that pass through a warehouse or distribution centre before display. It can be applied by hand in store or at source during manufacture.
